1. I've never had a site before, does this matter?
Absolutely not!  In fact, if that's the case then there's probably more reason for you to look into getting one!

2. Is there any advertising on my site?
None whatsoever.  Our sites are advertisement free and are not linked to any other sites for sponsorship or financial gain.  Of course, if you chose to be sponsored by anyone or require adverts that YOU want on there then we can arrange that if you like.

3. Why can't I have certain domain names?
Well, there's going to be the odd occasion that one's already been taken.  Some are going to be more popular than others which means that they've already been purchased.  We'll do all we can to source one that's available and ideal for your business.

4. Who actually hosts the site?
A company called Register.com host the sites.  They're a reliable, well established company who pride themselves on having a strong history of reliability.

5. Why is it so cheap to use Site on a Shoestring?
There are a number of factors which contribute to us being one of the most cost effective solutions out there.  It's generally because our sites aren't all flashy and "in your face"!  This means that site development times are kept to a minimum, and let's face it, if it's not costing us much, why should it cost you?

6. Where is Site on a Shoestring based?
We're an Australian company based in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne.  We're only small which ensures we REALLY appreciate your business.  In fact, even if you're not one of our customers yet we love the fact that you're even checking us out...thanks!

7. Will my site show on Google search results?
Of course!  Let's face it, if you can't be found on Google, you may as well not be online.  Based on what you tell us we can ensure that Google pick up your site when people make relevant searches.

8. I'll need things updating once the site's been completed. Can I do this?

We understand that circumstances change and that it's natural for a business to evolve.  Simple changes like contact details and email addresses we'll do for free.  Any major changes we'll deal with on an individual basis depending on the level of work that needs to be carried out.  We're reasonable people who'll do all we can to keep costs down.

9. What if I want to renew my site after it's expired?
That's not a problem.  Let's say you purchase a 1 year package and after 6 months it's going REALLY well!  You decide you want to extend it to 2 years.  Just let us know and we'll sort it out for you.
